ANTHONG NATIONAL PARK DIVE SITES
ANGTHONG DIVE SITES:
Angthong National Marine Park (Travel time with the "Sea Diamond": 30 min.) is a beautiful archipelago located west of Koh Phangan & Koh Samui. It consists of over 50 islands and an emerald salt water lake.
The best diving area are located at the northern part of the archipelago. The main 3 dive sites where we are used to go are:
KOH WOA BAY
Koh Woa Bay is a lovely shallow dive site offering perfect training conditions and really long dives opportunity. This dive site displays beautiful anemone gardens that stretch as far as the eyes can see.
All the usual companions are there. Koh Wao is a classic example of a well balanced dive site.
Koh Yippon is a huge island when it comes to diving. You can do many dives there without diving the same spot twice.
This dive site has a great diversity of fish and corals, beautiful Gorgonian sea fans, blue spotted sting rays and occasionally resident turtles can be spotted. Koh Yippon offer some swim-through, which makes the dive even more exciting!
Hin Yippon is mainly known for its 2 shallow swim-through. However this dive site offers a lot more: fish are in impressive numbers, schools of fusiliers and barracudas, banded sea snakes, white eye moray eels, nudibranches and reef cuttlefish will give you an enjoyable shallow dive.
